Mark Pesner
Mark Pesner, Ph.D, owner & director of Therapeutic Options, LLC, is a Licensed Psychologist with over thirty years experience working with individuals across the lifespan. In his work with children Dr. Pesner has a broad background in developmental difficulties with particular expertise in Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Executive Function Disorder, and other learning and behavioral problems. He presents extensively on these topics to parent, school and community groups. His practice also includes individual treatment in the areas of anxiety, depression, loss and adjustments to divorce. Dr. Pesner is a certified Neurofeedback provider.

Since he first founded the social skills program in 1994, Dr. Pesner has worked with hundreds of children, families and school districts in designing effective programs to enhance children's social skills and interpersonal relatedness. Dr. Pesner counsels parents on effective parenting strategies and advocates for them with school districts and Child Study Teams.

In the course of his work, Dr. Pesner became increasingly concerned about the effects of medication on his clients and sought out an alternative method of obtaining similar clinical responses. He became a Neurofeedback provider in 2005 and is now affiliated with EEG Education and Research. Dr. Pesner has been using this modality successfully with children and adults for problems with attention, anxiety and depression as well as for behaviors associated with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit Disorders.
